Das Val Bregaglia (Bergell) erstreckt sich zwischen dem Malojapass 1815m und dem lombardischen Chiavenna 333m. Der weitaus grösste Teil des Tals befindet sich in der Schweiz. Das Bergell ist tief eingeschnitten zwischen den Rätischen Alpen im Norden und den imposanten Bergeller Alpen im Süden. Ins Val Bregaglia münden 3 Täler, Val Forno, Val Albigna und Val Bondasca. The Val Bregaglia (Bergell) stretches from the Maloja Pass 1815m to Chiavenna in Lombardy 333m. By far the largest part of the valley is in Switzerland. Bregaglia is deeply incised between the Rhaetian Alps in the north and the imposing Bergell Alps in the south.
