Schilt is a small alpine mountain pasture about 1'000 metres above the municipalities Schattdorf and Erstfeld (Canton Uri). It is located at the westernmost edge of the mountain ridge, seperating the Schächen Valley from the Maderaner Valley and offers a great 240 degree panoramic view. The alpine meadow can be reached by an about 2 hour hike (one way) from the terminus station of the Schattdorf-Haldi Cable Car.
