Brüsti - Alp Grat - Gitschenberg (Uri)
Mountain panorama from Gitschenberg to Fläugenfadhorn, Älplistock and Vorder Schlossberg.
Gitschenberg 1369 m is located about 900 meters above the Reuss valley and the Lake of Uri. On Gitschenberg there are two small alpine farms (Alp Gitschenberg and Alp Honegg). Both alps are located directly under the towering and impressive field walls of the mountain Gitschen (2513 m). Gitschenberg can be reached by a small-capacity cable car. Particularly noteworthy are the impostant rock folds of the Gitschen south face.

The impressive mountain folds of the Gitschen south face appear on closer inspection like a work of art, created by the folding of the Alps.

Alp Grat is located on a narrow ridge that separates the Gitschital in the north from Brüsti in the south. Alp Grat can be reached on foot from Gitschenberg, the Gitschital, or from Brüsti. The small alpine farm is located along the hiking trail to the Surenenpass, which leads further to Engelberg. It offers a 360 degree panoramic view
from here, the steeply rising and connected mountain massif of Blackenstock, Brunnistock and Bristen can be seen impressively.
