Klein Matterhorn

Auf dem Klein Matterhorn befindet sich auf 3820m die höchstgelegene Seilbahnstation Europas. Auf dem eigentlichen Gipfel auf 3883m befindet sich eine kleine Aussichtsplattform, welche über einen Lift und Treppe erreicht werden kann. Das Klein Matterhorn ist seit 23. Dezember 1979 mit einer Seilbahn von Zermatt aus über Schwarzsee und Trockener Steg erschlossen.

The highest mountain Cable car station in Europe is located on the Klein Matterhorn at 3820 m. On the actual summit at 3883m there is a small viewing platform, which can be reached via a lift and stairs. The Klein Matterhorn has been accessible by cable car from Zermatt via Schwarzsee and Trockener Steg since December 23, 1979.
