The lakes area of the Upper Engadine valley is world-famous for its picturesque scenery. The chain of lakes are located at an altitude of 1'768 m - 1790 metres above sealevel and runs from Lake Sils, Lake Silvaplana (1'790 m), Lake Champfèr towards Lake St. Moritz.
