Canada 1938, Vancouver Harbour.
The stamp design is based on a photograph by W.J. Moore and shows the view of Vancouver Harbour (from West Bay on the northern side of the entrance to the Harbour). Prospect Point and part of the city appear in the background. In the distance is the Mount Baker in the State of Washington.
Spain 1967, „Sutil“ und „Mexicana“.
The stamp was issued in the series "Builders of the new World".
The stamp does not depict "Sutil and "Mexicana" in front of Mount Saint Elias in Alaska, as written on the postage stamp.
The stamp is based on an old drawing by José Cardero during the 1792 voyage around Vancouver Island. It shows "Sutil" right and "Mexicana" left. Mount Baker is in the background.
