The Piz Roseg with its two summits 3’937 m and 3’920 m (Schneekuppe) is situated in the Bernina Range.

The first ascent of the main peak: 1865 by A.W, Moore, Horace Walker (UK) and Guide Jakob Anderegg (Swiss). The first ascent of the Schneekuppe: 31.08.1863 by F.T. Bircham and Guides Peter Jenny and Alexander Fleury.
