The Jumelles is a mountain in the Chablais Alps. It is located just southwest Mt. Grammont.

The stamp was issued in sheet of 50 stamps, booklets of 10 stamps and as coil stamp (rolls with 10'000 stamps). The stamps from the booklet are left/right imperforated.
At the time (1993), this stamp was printed in Swiss Post’s stamp printing works in Berne and was discontinued in 2002. Production technology has changed a great deal in recent years, and the printing machines that were used in 1993 are no longer in use today. The new rolls (2015) were therefore produced using offset printing techniques at Joh. Enschedé in Haarlem (Netherlands). As a result, there are slight differences that are visible to the naked eye. Also, a different paper was used and hole perforation was employed instead of razor perforation (text Swiss Post).
