Nepal map Teng Kangboche

The Teng Kangboche is a mountain in the Khumbu section of the Mahalangur Himal. It is in the Thame valley beetween Kongde Ri and Bigphera-go Shar. At its foot there is situated the Thame village, where Apa Sherpa was born, who helds the world record for climbing the Mount Everest. The village was also the childhood home of Tenzing Norgay.
