The Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range is a large range in the North Tien-Shan.

It stretches for a total length of 454 km from the west-end of the lake Issyk-Kul to the town Taraz in Kazakhstan. It runs in the east-west direction, separating Chuy Valley from Kochkor Valley, Suusamyr Valley and Talas Valley. It's highest peaks are Peak Semenova (4'895 m) and Zapadni Alamedin (4'855 m).

View across the Ak-Say Glacier towards Box Peak (4'240 m).

The Ak-Say Glacier is located in the south of Bishkek.
The stamp was issued in the miniaturesheet "Glaciers of heavenly mountains of Kyrgyzstan".

Kyrgyzstan 2016, 25th Anniversary of Independence".
(perforated & imperforated)

The minaturesheet depicts the nine metres-long bronze figure on horseback called “Manas the Magnanimous”, which dominates the Ala-Too Square in the capital city of Bishkek (sculptor: Bazarbai Sydykov). The mountains in the background are identic with the view from Bishkek towards the Kyrgyz Ala Too. A picture, with an identic mountain view, you can see below. I do not know up till now, if the summits have induvidual names (contact).
