The Yoshino-yama (Nara Prefecture) belongs to the Kii Mountains and is part of the Yoshino Kumano Nationalpark.
It has been designated as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range". Mt. Yoshino is famous for its thousands of sakura trees.
