The Mino Mountain Range in Fukuoka Prefecture extends from west to east for about 30 kilometres. The highest summit is Takatori-yama (801.6 m), Other notable summits are known as Kora (312.3m), Mino (367.9m) and Hosshin (697.5m).
The stamp shows the three waterwheels of Asakura. They are known as the largest example in Japan of automatically rotating and pumping water wheels, (constructed in the mid-18th Century).
