The Kaimon-dake, also known as Fuji of Satsuma is of volcanic origin and situated in the southernmost part of the Satsuma Peninsula on Kyushu.

It is part of the Kirishima-Kikowan Nationalpark and is one of the 100 famous Japanese mountains.
