The Mt. Masada, or the cliff of Masada is situated at the southwestern shore of the Dead Sea. The cliffs of the flat topped mountain are up to 400 metres high. The mountain is famous for the ancient palaces on its top, which is connected by a cable car from the Dead Sea.
