The Mount Sinai (Gabal Mūsa) is a 2'285 metres high mountain in the Sinai region (Egypt). It is next to Mount St. Catherine (2'629 m) the tallest peak on the Sinai peninsula. Saint Catherine's Monastery lies at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai in the city of Saint Catherine in Egypt.
