The Darwin Island is a remain of an extinct volcano which reaches 165 metres above sea level. It covers an area of about 1,1 square kilometres and is the northwesternmost island of the Galápagos Archipelago. About 2 kilometres in the southeast of the island, there is a rock, known as the Darwin's Arch.
