The Cerros de Escazú range is located in the south-west of the capital San José. The highest summits of the range are the Cerro Rabo de Mico (2'428 m), Cerro Cedral (2'420 m), Cerro Pico Alto (2'353 m), Cerro Pico Blanco (2'271 m) and the Cerro San Miguel (20035 m).

San José’s airport "La Sabana Airport" was located until the 1940s, where today is the Parque la Sabana.
The stamp is existing: 5c green, 10c carmine rose, 15c chocola, 20c deep blue, 25c deep orange, 40c olive blk, 50c gray blk, 60c orange yel, 75c dull violet. Overprinted and hole punched stamps (used by goverment officials) are existing.
