The Laguna del Inca is a small mountain lake (2'853 m above sea level) in a narrow valley between the Ojos de Agua 4'222 m in the west and the Cerro Caracoles 4'513 m in the east. At the southern end of the lake is located the Chilean ski resort Portillo.
A view from Portillo towards the Cerro Tres Hermanos in the north. The three summits are known as Cumbre Norte 4'751 m, Cumbre Central 4'595 m and Cumbre Sur 4'274 m. The Cerro Tres Hermanos and the Cerro Caracoles 4'513 m mark the Chilean/Argentina borderline.
