Bulgaria map Maljovica Peak

Maljovica is the name of an about 25 kilometres long mountain ridge in the northwestern part of the Rila Mountains and the name of a summit of this ridge as well.

The Maljovica peak at 2'729 metres is known as the most important climbing site in Bulgaria and the true symbol of Bulgarian mountaineering. But the highest summit of the Maljovica ridge is the Goljam Kupen (2'731 m).
