The Jitchu Drake, also known as Jichu Drake, is situated about 7 kilometres in the north-east of the Jomolhari and about 7 kilometres in the south-west of the Tserum Gang at the Bhutan-China border. There is a great variation about heights of peaks in Bhutan. 6714 m, 6'789 m, 6'797 m or 6'989 m is a selection of heights to be found in several sources about Jitchu Drake.
The final summit of Jitchu Drake has actually a double peak of which the south summit is lower then the north summit. First ascent of the north summit: May 1988 by Sharu Prabhu (India) & Doug Scott and Victor Saunders (UK). First ascent of the south summit: 17th May 1983 by Werner Sucher, Albert Egger, Alois Stuckler, Sepp Mayerl and Toni Ponholzer (Austria).
