The Tasman Nationalpark covers an area of 83.12 square kilometres and is situated on the Forestier and Tasman Peninsula about 60 kilometres in the east of the city Hobart. It is famous for its 300 metres high cliffs, the dolorite or granite formations, known as the Cathedral Rock, Totem Pole, Candlestick and Tasmans Arch.
