Nagorno-Karabakh
"200th anniversary of Ivan Aivazovsky (1817–1900)"
Issue date: 17th July 2017

Postage stamps issued by Nagorno-Karabakh or Republic of Artsakh aren't recognized on an international level, either by UPU nor by PostEurop. But those stamps are listed in most stamps catalogues.  Nagorno-Karabakh is a landlocked region in the South Caucasus and is recognized by the United Nations as part of Azerbaijan.

Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky (29 July 1817 – 2 May 1900) was a Russian Romantic painter who is considered one of the greatest masters of marine art.
